Just Plain Cool
OK, check this out and tell me you're not impressed.
The above flower has been regrown from seeds that are between 30,000 and 32,000 years old! Thirty-two-thousand-years old????
The scientist that developed it have been able to prove that permafrost is a natural depository for ancient life forms. While I am aware this is likely to open a whole new can of ethical concerns- how simply unbelievable is this? I want them to make whole greenhouses full of these flowers. I'd love to plant a whole bunch of them in front of our little outside Mary garden! It is so simple and pretty a flower, and such a marvel.
